Here is what Debbie had to say:

'I would like to say a HUGE thank you to you and all your staff.

I was a member of another very well known gym 3 yrs ago until I could no longer afford the monthly membership payments(actually, I could of found the money, it's just that awful uncomfortable feeling of being stared at I walked through to the changing rooms).

Christmas 2009

As I sat during the Christmas holiday period, watching TV, popping yet another chocolate into my mouth, I caught sight of myself very briefly in the mirror and for a split second I didnt recognise myself, but it made me say to myself 'you need to do something!, but I didn't know what- because I had no intention of joining a gym again.

One Thursday evening in January,  I read the local paper and I saw a full page spread advertising Gymophobics, I cut out the advert and attached it to my fridge. That's where it stayed, but I did mention it to my friend.

During the next day at work, I chatted to the same friend and we decided that although we liked nothing more than going to the cinenma and then a meal afterwards, we needed a different hobby as we both have stressful jobs and we needed to both think about our health( we are in that 40 yr bracket) as we're not getting any younger.

My friend suggested some relaxation therapy, which consisted oy laying down on pillows and humming to bells and drums etc, that was most definitely not for me at all! Then one evening, the same friend rang and suggested we practise Tai Chi, she got the idea because she had just finished watching Kung Fu Panda, "absolutely, no way" I replied.

The next day, I took the newspaper advert of my fridge and made the phonecall to Gymophobics. There was no need to be nervous because at the end of the line was a very friendly, reassuring voice. I booked us both in.

It's the best thing I ever did and I've achieved great results so far.

Thanks again

Debbie
