Most members join to lose weight or get fitter, and discover that Gymophobics is a supportive community of women.
Most of our members join Gymophobics, hoping to lose weight or feel fitter. It doesn’t take long for them to realise we’re more than a gym, we’re a community of women who encourage one another and celebrate every achievement.
We love seeing our members socialising in the coffee lounge, arranging meet-ups outside the gym, and joining us for charity events or meals out.
At Gymophobics, we know fitness matters, but we know friendship matters too.
There are 168 hours in a week, so two or three gym sessions alone won’t maximise results. That’s why our Gymophobics instructors advise ten minutes of home exercise each morning, plus a daily walk to build fitness.
Follow their guidance and the benefits will escalate faster than you’d ever expect, all while your whole Gymophobics community cheers you on.
Many friendships start on the circuit and carry on long after the session ends, over coffee and cake together.
Better health, not just weight loss, is a growing reason women choose Gymophobics. Members report lower blood pressure, reduced risk of heart disease, stroke and type 2 diabetes, plus improvements in mobility and long-term joint health.
Many of our members tell us they sleep more soundly, feel more energetic, and like themselves a lot more since joining Gymophobics.
For over 20 years, Gymophobics has helped thousands of women improve their fitness, confidence and wellbeing through supportive coaching and proven programmes.
