Depression & Cardiovascular Disease

People whose depression symptoms improved after treatment were less likely to develop cardio-vascular disease according to a study of 636,955 people aged over 45. Research at University College, London suggests that improvement from depression is associated with a 12 percent fall in future cardio-vascular disease, coronary heart disease, stroke and death.

The study was published in the European Health Journal.
